In the co-operative structure the organization has incorporated savings as a product for its saver members. All the saver members can save in the co-operative and at the time of their need they can avail loan converting this savings amount as the security in the co-operative. The co-operative has the provision to give interest to its members as per the decision taken from time to time by the management.

AWARENESS INDIA operates three types of savings products:

Flexible Savings: A member can save in the co-operative in small installments on daily/ weekly/ monthly basis. In this type of savings GPDO meets the saver members as per the provision and collects the saving installment from the door step.

Recurring Deposit: The Saver Members of the co-operative can save in form of recurring deposit and one can save a sum of Rs.30/- per month at a minimum level and this amount may be collected monthly/ weekly/ daily basis by the GPDO.

Fixed Deposit Savings: The organization has introduced savings in form of Fixed Deposit for a specified duration. Fixed Deposit can be for a minimum amount of Rs.1000/- & in the multiples of Rs.100 after that.

NOTES:

All deposits can be collected by GPDOs or can be deposited by members directly at Zone.
Withdrawal allowable only after 60 days.
Loan against FD up to 90% is allowed after 60 days when interest charged is 2% higher than the interest paid. FD Renewal after maturity date is automatic at previously allowed interest rate till drawl date.
Deposits linked up to loan can not be withdrawn during the pendency of the loan period.
Premature withdrawal of RD is paid by deducting 2% interest as originally allowed.
